“Choose the least give the best”
Make a joyful noise to the lord, all the earth, worshiping the lord with gladness. Come into his presence with singing. (Ps;100;1,2). This is the spirit of the entire Franciscan’s during this Ruby Jubilee Year. At this time of grace, having reached to the 40th year of foundation of our school, I am reminded of a parable from the Holy Bible. (LK: 14;7-11).
When Jesus noticed how the guest chose the place of honor, he told them a parable, when you are invited by someone to a wedding banquet, do not sit down at the place of honor, in case someone more distinguished than you has been invited by your host and the host who invited both of you may come and say to you give this person your place, and then in disgrace you would start to take the lowest place. But when you are invited, go and sit down at the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he may say to you. Friend move up higher, then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at the table with you. For all who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be exalted. God has great plans for each one of us and I do believe that He has a definite plan for our school also. It was first seen when our sisters were motivated to start a school in Raisen. They were passionate about enabling every child in Raisen to have access to quality education. The pioneers rose to the occasion, facing challenges, eliminating weakness and explicating the opportunities and sowed the seeds and it has grown with branches and many of our alumni have scaled great heights and are being looked upon as role models by the successive batches of our students.
Over the 4 decades, the school family has experienced tremendous support of parents and committed teachers. The words of late A.P.J. Abdul Kalam seems to be quite relevant here. For him “Dreams are not those that we see in our sleep they should be the one’s that never let us sleep”. Hence we shall brave all the odds and continue to spread quality education in every corner of Raisen. Let’s put our heads, hearts and hands together to achieve the dream of fulfilling the mission to promote an all-round development by creating and facilitating an environment for knowledge, self-reliance, Social sensitivity and eco-friendliness that moulds the students to build up a better world to live in. May God Bless You.
